 Rapid inflation is not necessary. The correct thing to do is use
a slow inflator, like the Sport Diver version, and anticipate 
your inflation needs. As Doug pointed out, any runaway could have
catastrophic effects witrh a rapid inflator. I took the Scuba Pro
inflator off of my open water bc and replaced it with a Sport Diver.
