  Doug, Gavin tried that on a nitrgen-filled scooter, and the batteries
only lasted about three cycles. Ask him about  this. Paul Smith is
confusing a one shot use of a light to general operation. We all
know how to amke them go deep once. but the correct thing to do is
to design one for the purpose, rather than accept one free from
a manufacturer and use it anyway. - G
