This is funny. Actually, they have threatened to sue me. I did see one lawyer on here who offered to put together a class action suit on behalf of the injured parties to get their money back, but I am no legal expert, and I don't have any of these lights, so I really don't care. Diving in the US is basicly unregulated, so we just have to take our chances with equipment. I rather prefer it that way, since everything would be much more expensive if there were regulation. For example, you would not be able to buy a scooter at all. The thing to do is help each other avoid the bad stuff and get the good stuff. That is all I try to do. I like to piss off the weenies, so I always add something about "being a stroke" in with the advice, as a true stroke takes no advice, so I get to insult my enemies and help my friends at the same time. - George On Wed, 22 Nov 1995, "A.Appleyard" <A.APPLEYARD@fs*.mt*.um*.ac*.uk*> wrote: >If Neutraleak (or whatever their proper trade name is) lights are so bad, why >doesn't someone stop cluttering the email with flamage and instead go and sue >or prosecute their maker or supplier for "selling goods which are not of the >quality demanded" (or whatever that is in USA legalese)? >-- >Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@terra.net'. >Send subscription/archive requests to `techdiver-request@terra.net'. > >
