   Gary, before you go dispensing nonsensical information, find
out what you are talking about. Lights that compress the batteries
cause the plates to short out, lowering the voltage and dimming
the light, a BIG problem in cave diving with buddies. Get out
your calculator - the dive rite cannister is putting about 3000
pounds of pressure on the batteries at 30 feet. 
   Hey, Gary, why don't you try parking your car on your batteries,
and see how they work. Your penchant for "personal preference"
would best be saved for you-know-where. - G
