    Bernie, you have written pages and pages about using a reel.
Let me help you out - get a spool. Since I know you guys NEVER 
believe me, call Bill Deans in Key West and he will tell you 
how to rig and carry it. Only a stroke would carry a piece of 
safety equipment as convoluted as a dive rite reel. - G
