Tod,

From a dry caver stand point, the NSS is a great organization. They have
done a lot for DRY caving in the US and supporting it will only do good
regarding DRY caving.

However, on the WET side of the story, the CDS (at least nowadays) is not up
to the rest of the NSS "name".

I am a dry caver, have been down there for more than 10 years in a lot of
leading survey projects in my country and when time arrived for cave diving
instruction, I went to GUE.

If you want a dry caving top organization, go for NSS. If you want a cave
diving top agency, go to GUE.
