Trey, I forwarded JJ's note to the Australian cave diving list
and got a fairly rapid response from the head of TDI Australia
(organisers of OzTec 2000). Well, a couple of responses actually.
One public, and one private one.

In his public response, the local TDI head wrote:

 > "Tell you what Billy, you give the $2500 to get them here and

So he won't take JJ & Robert's money but he'll take mine, and
it's still none of my business. And JJ and Robert still aren't
welcome.

So here, publically, I'm offering the $2,500 for him to put
Jarrod and Robert back on the programme and back in the show,
under the previously agreed terms, if he hasn't managed to piss
them off completely.

But I don't think this is about money. I think that's a smoke-
screen. JJ already offered him the money and still got refused.
I think there's another agenda running here. When I asked the
TDI guy how hard Guilliam was pulling his string, he got very
excited. Even asked me to go round and visit him. I said that
wasn't necessary 'cause I'd be quite happy to hear his confession
by email.

There's too much hubris round these people. I can't forget that
when these same people had the opportunity to finally disassociate
glamour and deep air diving when Rob Palmer killed himself, they
lied instead.

Anyway there's eight of us DIR divers in Sydney who regularly
charter boats and dive together. If anyone in Sydney wants to
bypass the bullshit and the run-around and go straight to the
real stuff email me. We can arrange DIR-friendly training,
equipment that isn't priced to make your nose bleed, sound deco
advice, good fun diving with people who tell the truth. and,
(as the t-shirt says):

no deep air no personal preference
no stuffed hose no bondage wings no
air bail-out no steel slings no dual
bladders no wrong deco no stroke mix
no tom no brett no bazza no rt
              N O S T R O K E S !!!

Life's too short and there's too much ocean to dive for all
the underhand stuff.
