I'm getting close to new vehicle time, truck lease will be expiring. If you think this isn't diving related, you may just not know what your most expensive piece of dive gear is :-) I'm still not sure if I want another truck or not. For the extra $$ I pay in gas (for the reduced gas mileage vs. a car) I could probably buy an old truck, or buy a small trailer, over the long run. Anyways, just wondering what tricks the car-bound have come up with when you are dealing with 2 sets of doubles, plus some loose stages, plus all the other assorted gear. Not looking for answers for single tank stuff. You can do that in a bloody Miata. So is there any practical way to manage a cavers gear in a normal car, or will I be replacing this truck with another? What about pickup vs. sport-ute? Anyone have pros/cons on the Explorer Sport? Is the back area large enuf if you fold down/remove the rear seats? For one diver or two? Thanks, Mike
