You know, that is a really good idea, but I didn't, and here's why. The electical cables are very thick, and there must be 30 or 40 draping all over the place. They are in excess of 3/4 inch thick or more. This would take a considerable amount of bottom time. And an extra tool, that I did not want to take down. I had no problems myself simply parting the cables as if you were walking through a bar door with those swanky bead type doors. So I left 'em. We were not just concentrating on that wreck that weekend, we only made two jumps on here then headed for the Koka ( An AT class tug SUPER SHALLOW ). Also, I figure, if someone can't handle the cables, then don't go in three rooms. Maybe that sounds shitty, but that's how I feel. It was a nice dive - cold water, heavy current, way off-shore, kinda gets the juices flowing. The nicest part is that my dive buddy ( Clayton Backhaus ) was a former wreck student of mine. Really got the bug bad ( I wonder from where ) , so we buddied up. He really did well, and parted the cables just as I did to penetrate. Kevin
