Jim, that sounds very interesting. I have heard of one person going 100 % blind at depth from a "bad" mix. I cannot tell you which gas the impurity was resident of. Are you running the helium through your filters too ? I've heard nothing but good things about the lakes. Who gave you the idea of adding nitrogen to the mix ? I only have seen refrence to heliox in the early manuals. Untill the cavers in fla were published saw no other published refrence to adding the nitrogen. I keep my end between 160 and 180, you must be poor by now, no ?
