There are several entry points in the Duane.  
You might be thinking of its sistership, the Bibb...sunk right next to the
Duane.  
Your best  and  safest bet to penetrate the Duane is with a guide.
They cattle boats will  *NOT*  normally allow penetrations as it might require
deco
and  increase the risks,  waiting time for other divers   and  additional
safety gear which they are  *NOT*  willing to take along.
  
You might have to go to smaller  ( and more expensive ) techie boats.
Again,  the small extra payment for a guide would be a very wise investment
to reduce your risk exposure.
