Hi:-

Thanks. I'll try it.

This really isn't a matter of life and death. I guess I'm just curious as
to why I can't get off. Your explanation looks reasonable.

Also, interestingly, I'm not getting all the messages. Just some.

And, if folks could talk to each other without being rude I would probably
want to stay on the list.

Thanks.

Coop.

One thing I found some time back is that if you're using a emailer in rich
text (HTML) mode, the list servers have trouble reading the message, and you
get a bounceback like you describe. Wreckdiver was the worst for this, so I
am guessing this is your problem.

Try converting the message to Plain Text mode. If you're using Outlook /
Outlook Express, click on the new message button, then in the new message
window, click on the format menu and select "Rich Text (HTML)". Then send
the message with just the word "subscribe" in the body. Using rich text
adds other characters which list servers cant interpret.

Hope this helps

Regards, Des

Hi:-

Well, it was worth a try. But the request to "wreckdiver-request" didn't
work either. Returned by the mailer-daemon.

I'm perplexed.

Coop.
