This morning Chris Hartwig, Bill Stupp, Dave Manchester and I replaced two moorings on the wreck, Wisconsin. We put one on the bow and one amidships to port. Each consists of a 5/8" poly line with eye-spliced thimble chained to the wreck extending to within about 15 feet of the surface, buoyed with a five-gallon plastic drum. To the buoyed end of the poly line is tied a 5/8" nylon pick-up line with the bitter end buoyed with a pair of one gallon detergent bottles. We had good weather today. The waves were one to three feet. Underwater visibility was about 10 feet. Water temperature was a balmy 39 deg F. Next weekend we will be at the Our World Underwater show. See you there. Good diving, Dale
