:>So what you are saying is that streamlining does not matter and does not :>cause significant drag? That is how I took it. : :'Scuse me, but are you "streamlining" yourself to go through the water :faster -- or for SNAG PREVENTION? Richard, BOTH! You actualy will be faster in the water when streamlined. Due to the streamlining you will have less resistance as you swim in the water. Current will have less of an effect upon you. You will have more endurance due to less resistance. You will be overall more "efficient". Every little thing counts when you are down there, and a value decision needs to be reached on the true benefits of all drag producing gear pieces. I guess you never payed attention in Hogarth 101. -Charles +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Please send messages for the WreckDiver list to: wreckdiver@wreckdiver.com Send subscription and help requests to: wreckdiver-request@wreckdiver.com +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
