Is that your reason for >having to be doubly redundant in the light dept?? Although lights do fail with much frequency, any piece of equipment can fail, and so, to answer your query, I do carry redundant everything (within reason). This is why I dive a Hogarthian rig, as it offers the most failure recovery options out of any system I've seen, and does so while being ridiculously simple. This is important when it comes to safety, because many emergency scenarios arise because of the "snowball" effect. Having a rig that is unconvoluted, and being prepared for any forseeable failure, is the best way to avoid a small problem developing into a big one. -Sean If you wish to know the nuances of the Hogarthian rig, please read my next post. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Please send messages for the WreckDiver list to: wreckdiver@wreckdiver.com Send subscription and help requests to: wreckdiver-request@wreckdiver.com +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
