Ahhh! But if they publicly admitted to believing she was carrying munitions,
that would be more or less an admission of guilt that they had reason to and
did in fact torpedo her. Perhaps a torpedo alone wouldn't have caused that
much damage but was the catalyst for a coal dust explosion...
Isn't it odd that the Germans claim to have mined that whole area yet no
traces of ANY mines could be found?
