Ahhh, Pat I think you have committed a major error with your system here. I mean what if your BC falls off, huh? I mean if it falls off, there go all your tools, what with them being welded to the D-ring and all. What you should do is weld them to a handcuff or ankle manacle. Then, right before you dive in, lock those suckers on you real tight (so they won't fall off when your wetsuit compresses). Give the key to the captain of the boat for safe keeping and in you go! Now, even if you slip out of your BC, your tools will be firmly attached to your body, safe and sound!
