I was Dan's buddy on one of the dives he mentions below. Water was about 45 surface and a lot colder down below. Including deco, we spent a little over an hour in the water and neither of us got cold. Argon is a wonderful thing. One negative though, if you think it takes a long time to fill your suit now, wait til you try argon. It does not flow quite as fast as air. If your suit has a flow restricting orifice in the inflator (like the old viking sport) it is really slow. I have to pump all the way down, instead of waiting till I need to relieve the squeeze. >> What is the actual improvement on warmth by using Argon.
