Hi everyone, lobster diving allways puzzled me. Up here (Quebec, Canada) it's highly illegale to take lobsters. Don't even think about getting a permit. On top of it the local fisherman, if they found you, would kill you first and call the coast guards aftewards! I've been reading about American East coast diving and I allways see these pictures of divers with gigantic lobsters that they found on the wrecks they dive. How does it work? Do you need a permit? Who is elligible? Is there quotas, limits and a lobstering season? It would make my diving a lot easier to accept for my wife if I brought her a lobster for diner once in a while!
