I tried 'em too, and for more than one dive. They did feel funny. I liked
that they are light, and a lot easier to put on and off than my ScubaPro XL
Jet Fins, but because I'm used to the long kick of the Jet Fins, I wasn't
happy. I didn't buy 'em either. Some people I've seen are very fast with
them, but not me (6', 220lbs, slow and deliberate).

What I'd really like, is my old Jet Fins, with the open boot and cinch strap
configuration of the Force Fins. The new materials that the Force Fins are
made from are nice and light also. Traditionalists and bored slammers will
probably jump on me for suggesting that the Jet Fins be improved, but I
think that there's room.

I've used the Force Fins for one dive. They have a different feel with a
short kick, not the longer, slower kick I'm used to. Straight ahead they
seems to work very well. As I used them to swivel and stay vertical in the
water, they gave me very little control. I worked far too hard to stay in
non-standard positions.

They also, seemed too loose, like I was going to lose them. You'd probably
get use to that pretty quickly.

When I tried them I was set to buy them, but after the try out I didn't
get'm.

Looking for feedback from anyone who has had diving experience with
Bob Evan's Force Fins. Do they work? How well? Personal experiences
in different conditions/dive configurations? Any information would be
greatly appreciated. Please respond here or to aquacorp@ke*.ne*

Thanks.
