I don't believe that IANTD stated that "mixed gas diving is for everyone."
I believe there may be a misunderstanding with their bumper sticker:
"Dive Safe, Dive Fun, IANTD is for Everyone"
IANTD does more than TECHNICAL DIVING.
It has been my understanding that they also offer
"recreational" classes as well as "technical" classes,
which would indicate that there is something for everyone!
And, promote safety and fun as well.
I believe they offer "underwater MODELING classes" (at least in the U.S.)
in addition to the mixed gas classes and I hardly think this would be
classified as a technical diving.
BTW, Patti Mount, Tom's wife was a professional underwater model, and author
of a book on underwater-modeling that she had published and co-authored with
Tom.
