according to the man that works on the compressor for a shop on
maui that became a nitrox facility four months ago there have
been three small explosions, all in hoses and all due to filling
too fast (the hoses were on the compression system and not o2
cleaned).

this is the only experience i have heard of except something about
a 104 blowing up when dropped in north florida full of 50\50 a few
years ago.

the thing on maui is hearsay as i was not there although i know the
compressor mech very well and trust him.  i also know the people that
are involved in the shop and they are the bottom of the pile of crap 
as-far- as compentence is concerned.

btw, jftr (just for the record) i liked raimo's idea of only refilling
nitrox tanks with 21+ % to gaurantee that they aren't filled at other
shops.. a really good way of cya (covering your ass).  we always smell
the air it's a pretty obvious difference, but this is a great way to
make sure.

jftr, i still think you're a dumb shit bob, but i'm starting to think
that i may be somewhat wrong... hell it's possible, i used to think
george was smart..:-)
