Hi everyone, Taking the advice of the netowner I'm introducing myself. I got my openwater diver card in So Cal in 90, the first shore dive on Malibu beach, first boat dive off Catalina Island. I'm 48, got a late start. Did a lot of diving with Truth Aquatics on the Channel Islands. Got my advanced openwater and basic nitrox in Ct where I found out deco and solo diving was not against the law. Did a lot of diving off RI (Thunderfish, Capt Bill Palmer; Long Island, NY (Wahoo, Capt Steve Bielenda and Eagles Nest); Boston MA area and NH lakes. I prefer wreck diving, but I love diving, it don't take much to get me in the water. The only warm water diving was West Palm, FL. I'm in Phila, PA now so I'm doing some NJ coast diving. I plan on taking the advanced Nitrox and Trimix classes soon. Will be taking an ice diving class in Jan. Best wreck dives so far are the Oregon, U-853 and the Stolt. There you have it, if I can stay on the east coast another couple of summers I'd like to do the Doria. I found out about this listserver via a request I made on brown.edu. I was enlightened this was a rough group and I'd probably be flamed just for signing up. Raise hell!! No fragile ego here. Seriously, I'm looking forward to see what evolves here. Take care. Bill Wesemann
