Waterproof versions are made by a variety of manufacturers. Any
commercial diving distributor (like M&E in Camden NJ) should be able
to get you specs and prices.

Hey all...
One thing I haven't seen in diving circles is a waterproof version of a
comm device that's used in high ambient noise environments - I used one in
a helicopter a few times. It's a sort of microphone thingy that sits
against the throat/voicebox area: for lack of a real name, I would call the
things "throatphones". It wouldn't interfere at all with air-sharing, or
require any modifications to one's second stage, as the sender sits against
the throat like a ladies' choker necklace. The earphones were integrated
into my helmet, so that might be a problem underwater...
Anyone know if there has been experimentation with a waterproof version of this?
