Some of us "open water" divers have been considering pushing some
depth limits. We were going to dive with a PADI instuctor that we
know, using air, to a depth at which we were narc'd.
The intent was to expose us to nitrogen narcosis, in a controlled
manner, so that we would have a feel for "the animal".
After speaking to some other instuctor friends, and having them tell
me that they thought it was a stupid thing to do, I am now asking for
the opinions of the "tech gods".
How 'bout it? We are all PADI DM's that have a lot of various dives
under our belts. I would like to "experience" being narc'd. Thumbs
up? Thumbs down? Precautions?
e-mail me directly with flames/smart ass/fun comments, share constructive
comments with the list?
