Tom,

I agree with your post, but my statement regarding a diver in NY with 200
dives is better than a diver in, lets say NC with 200 dives, is only better
if all other things are equal, ie; current, seas, equipment, training, depth
etc. The difference between here and there is the colder water and reduced
visibility.

>Ask me, Billy or Jim Mims how many NY divers have

Again, the NY diver in your statement does not have the amount of experience
in current as a cave diver would. Here, all things are not equal. There is
much more current in caves than in the average NY dive. Naturally dives like
the Doria, Norness, etc are exceptions to that, but NY wreck divers as
compared to cave divers are not subjected to current nearly as much as the
cave diver. My statement was intended to point out that the number of dives
an individual has is not the only factor in determining ones experience, and
I know that you agree with me on that.

I agree.

Not to be sorry. I learned something, maybe the hard way, but I take the
positives from the experience. Those that slam me don't really know what they
are talking about, so I really don't care. People like Selchow and Goodviz
don't bother me at all-I like screwing around with them, especially Goodviz.
I did not see any posts from my NY "friend", so I don't know what was said
about me, nor do I care. Your'e right, its not worth responding to I'm sure.

Safe diving,

Raimo.

PS-renewal is on the way, best to patti.
