I am begining to think that you don't get the type of heat packs I am
refering to over there. I know the gel type you mean; they are
re-chargeable. I have tried them and they are of limited value.

The ones I am refering to are disposable, sold in sealed plastic bags, and
start heating up when exposed to air. They give off a lot more heat for a
lot longer which is why I use them.
