I had a friend ask me what the measurement on his watch stands for.
It reads:  Water Resistant to 15 BAR.

I was not sure what depth this was equivalent to.  Ive heard BAR
used to rate manifolds, but have not had this measurement explained
to me.

A brief explanation would be appreciated, I'm at work and have no
references material at hand.
