What a coincidence. I did four of them last night. US Diver has a kit that 
contains 
a new battery, some solder, and a two part mixture that forms the gel to 
reseal the 
battery in the compartment. Suggested retail on the kit is $74. (Price just 
went 
up.) US Diver has been secretive about the contents of the mixture. If 
anyone knows 
what it is, drop me a line. The old battery must be cut out of the gel, 
being 
careful not to cut the wires attached to it. After the compartment is 
cleaned of 
the old gel, and a new AA lithium 3.6V battery is installed, the 
compartment must be 
resealed with the new gel. Caution: Special mixing instructions do not come 
with the 
installation kit. You should only pour 80% of the small bottle into the 
large 
bottle. You must then mix rigorously. Complete setup is 24 hours. Test the 
computer 
before you seal it up.
