No,  I think I must have taken a stupid aspirin.

However,  I do think I recall that the mechanics of "bubble collapse" is not
a linear or simple process and observations of IWR on asymptomatic DCS may
not be as relevent as we would hope.  

Maybe someone can answer the following question?  Were the existing IWR
tables (specifically US Navy) developed through studies or were developed
more out of necessity  --  bent diver and no appropriate means of surface
recompression?  And over time a set of tables were developed to facilitate
treatment.  These tables may have since been modified because of new
relevent information.  Maybe these questions are answered in Rich's article
which I'll read again.
