Let's face it, 95% of diving Nitrox is understanding the physics and physiology of using it. As far as instruction, it has very little to do with diving skills, so I see very little need for the instructor being along for the dive, or even being awake for that matter, as long as he is available when needed. For the record, I don't feel it is too profesional to be sleeping while your students are diving. Every agency has a few questionable practices, 50/50 bailout or advanced deep air, but what I like about ANDI, that they think in terms of any mix between 22 and 40% O2 instead of 32 or 36%. Pete
