We're in the market for a good but not exorbatantly priced comms set to
fit our AGA Mk II masks. It'll be used with surface supply so wireless is
not a requirement. With so much input to the sbject of full face masks
recently, I guess someone out there has an opinion. A set callled
Diverphone (available from Australia for about $Aus5000.00) is being
considered.
Second up, is there a commercial, diver recall system available? We use
Navy thunderflashes, small, harmless, explosive devices which provide a
good thump and have sufficient Magnesium in them to give a good flash in
gloomy conditions. Divers respond well to them. I wonder how dive boat
operators recall 20 - 30 divers in a hurry. I got some idea that an
underwater siren system existed. Any comments appreciated.
