Chris Parrett talked about using taped interviews and publishing them without permission...a la most recent issue of Aquacorps...Chris was at the recent TDI workshop in Florida during which this article was a sidebar issue and I can assure him and anyone else who's interested that neither Gilliam nor Odom gave permission to be quoted....mind you, I really like Bret's quote about how you get diving experience!!! Come to think of it, Joe Odom's statement about doing the dive in question (441 ft on an aluminum 80) using a rule of thirds is a pretty decent one too.... Here in Canada, and I believe in several states too, you'll get a serious legal ass-kicking for taping telephone conversations without permission....and as someone with a background in the publishing business, I can assure you, it's considered a slimey technique....obvioulsy M2 doesn't have much respect for Gilliam or Odom.
