The Datex analysers costs ca 7.5 K USD for a ready to run unit. This is a
breathing gas analyser with O2 CO2 and N2O. It is equiped with a pump and a
computer to make it "doctor safe". It is fast enough to measure breath by
breath, has analog and digital outputs, has automatic calibraion with room
air.

You must remember that the paramagnetic sensor is very sensitive to
vibration so it is no soluiton for rebreathers.
