Well first of all I'd like to see his configuration. Better yet I'd like to see him scootering (VBG)! The DIN vavle seems to be quite stronger resisting lateral forces, but how about rotational forces. I seem to recall the ring lets go if the valve gets rotated. How about some TESTS. anyone out there with access so we could pump some up and do actual tests to see how much air it takes to blow one? It would seem to me that the reality is, at least for those of us that don't bang into things, that it isn't that great a concern. Lab tests aside I believe that either one would suffice. George, I haven't heard anything about the stainless dip tubes for DINs. Is that still ongoing? Or has it "gone" r.b. high and dry :-( in Arlington
