Actually, that's a disadvantage of *every* full-face mask, though I have heard of people rigging them in peculiar ways to make it possible to insert a second stage without removing the first. (This has been done with an AGA, too, though I don't recall how. It was quite complicated.) Full-face mask diving is something that, in my humble opinion, should only be done by solo divers under conditions in which they are quite sure they won't need access to a pony bottle. (Forget the buddy's octopus. Full-face mask divers are solo divers, regardless of whether anybody else is nearby. <g>) John H-C
