Before I became interested in tech diving, I gained a great deal of respect for nature from my flying experiences. When I came into diving, my respect followed and adapted to the new enviro. I personally feel that the best thing an experienced tech divier can do for us new ppl is to be supportive, but re-inforce the need for caution and respect. Some ppl are going to be stupid no matter what, but others are going to follow and be smart about it. If supported properly, the new tech diver will progress slowly and safely, a good thing for all.
