Raimo - Courses you attended in 1990 put you in the unique position of a VERY ACCURATE representation of the entire worldwide ANDI network in 1995? Someone willing to accept that premise has already made their mind up, but volumes are filled with the updates, new editions, systems, techniques, and other changes that ANDI has undergone since 1990. Have you taken any no charge audits over the years to see what's new? Maybe by another instructor or IT, to get a different presentation and point of view? Have you read the latest material or are you working with outdated stuff? Do you feel you have better sources for recent information? Competitor's customers? Staff? You really should temper their veracity with a healthy dose of skepticism. Unhappy customers, like disgruntled employees tend to have selective and one-sided memories. And that sword cuts both ways. Besides, don't confuse facility and agency. All facilities get their competitor's customers. Unfortunately, all this has missed your original points: I'd still like to check into the instructors who were certified without having to dive. And these "Oregon divers". Who are they, how recently were they certified, and by whom? And when was the last time they refered to their textbooks? As you say, your proximity puts you in a unique position to answer my questions and help with our quality control. Please do not respond publicly with names so as to protect the privacy and personal anonymity of those individuals. ---------------------------------------------- Stuart Masch, Chief Operating Officer American Nitrox Divers International
