Richard,

I realize that PADI has recently "updated" their standards. Big Deal. They
still suck. The upgrade was so insignificant that I didn't bother to consult
standards. So while my facts may be off a bit, their upgrade is not
considered to be major. And since you seem to know the facts, how does a PADI
Instructor get a specialty rating???? Is it still by logging the 25 dives in
the specialty area and then paying the $40 fee????? If so, get real. I take
it your a PADI supporter.
