  Oh, I know about that... Gut squeeze. In french, it's colorfully called 
"colique du scaphandrier", that is, hard-hat diver's colic... (I love that 
word: "scaphandrier" - pronounce it "skah-phan (like ANthem)-drrree-ay")...

  I found out the hard way *NOT* to eat mexican food before diving. Our gang 
went to the olympic diving pool (which is 15 meters deep), and after 
surfacing, well, I had it. The gas which was developped at depth expanded 
(250%!) inside yours truly, and indeed, it was painful. But, fortunately, it 
was so near the exhaust pipe that it did not take long for me to be relieved 
in an unbelievable display of uncivility...
