The Apeks regulators are good as long as you stay out of the realy cool waters. (<5--10 centigarde). The T40, T50D second stadges have been known to freezup. Their first stages are sealed as standard and they seem to be good. The magazine Diver (BSAC) tested an Apeks T50D with four second stages and four divers at 50 m and it worked well. This was in warmer waters. I like my Poseidon Jetstream (= Odin in the US) and I won't trade it. Their old balanced first stage is a little bit complicated but there is a new one comming this spring. The new second stage "Triton" has been in the pipeline for a long time now. We are still waiting. Sten Meyer (m87stme@mt*.ch*.se*)
