I've considered unsubscribing as well but I'd urge you to stay on for a little longer. I've come to the conclusion that the people causing the problems are deliberately trying to destroy this list because they disagree with some of the opinions on it. They are doing this under the guise of trying to "save lives". If they really felt this way they would give rational arguments for their views, and cite references. They get a charge out of the feedback so the best thing we can do is delete any messages the offenders post without reading them. In other words, ostracize them by ignoring them. I also delete any messages in threads they started. The signal to noise ratio improves considerably when I do this. People like this tire after awhile and go away. I've seen it before on the net and I'm sure I'll see it again. Until then, my delete key gets a workout. My philosophy is that personality flaws get worse under water, not better. Particularly when things go wrong. So, I wouldn't want to dive with these people, no matter how "good" they supposedly are. If I wouldn't want to dive with them I'm certainly not going to listen to anything they have to say about diving. If they are right, I'll hear it elsewhere from more responsible sources, so I'm not missing anything. Again, I'd urge the reasonable folks to hang in there and not let a few bomb throwers put you off, because if you do, they win. Rick Fincher rnf@sp*.tb*.co*
