Now here's a serious tech diving topic if ever I saw one.
I don't do many deep dives or any requiring long deco but I do do lots of
long duration dives (usually lying around on the bottom watching fish most
of the time). What is increasingly driving me back to dry land is not a
lack of air (or film) but hunger. I haven't tried eating/drinking
underwater (not that I can remember anyway, friends have), I was wondering:
a) Is it possible/wise to snack out UW?
b) What are good foods to choose (I thought condensed milk (in a
tube off-course) would be good, maybe jelly babies (may be
uncontrolable though))?
c) Is all that extra salt really good for you?
d) Any recipies?
Surely folks wouldn't undertake long penetration dives or dives requiring
long deco without some sustenance. What is the secret?
