I use both Scubapro & Poseidon regs. on deep trimix dives, and have found that both function very well at depth. Contrary to what I've read in published reports, the Poseidons (Odins) don't seem any better than the Scubapros (Mk10/G-250 & Mk10/D-350) at great depth (I've breathed both below 400' on several occasions). I also know of some folks who have used the Scubapro D400 on dives in the 500-750' range, and reported excellent results. In my present rig, I use the Poseidon's for trimix & the Scubapros for decom. This is not because I trust the Poseidons any more than the Scubapros; but rather because the Poseidons don't breathe as well at depths shallower than 130' (they don't provide a "smooth" breath). If I were buying new Poseidon's, I'd probably get Cyclons, rather than Odins. (Less finicky, I'm told). Hope this is useful to you. Aloha, Richard Pyle
