Hi Kevin,

I agree with you entirely.  Have you also considered that an instructor
taking a class without a DM is *SOLO* diving, with handicapps.

The students in an OW class aren't divers (you are turning them into
divers).  They are students!  The instructor is in the water, with
no divers around.
