Thanks for all the people who replied to me, I appreciate it. For those who mailed me and asked for any information I got on the subject here it is. <<I collected such a filter a week ago from MDE at Leicester so that I could brew nitrox using my portable compressor. Talk to: Terry King MDE Ltd. 57 Sparkenhoe Street Leicester Tel. 0116 2624262 Total cost was -281.99 inc VAT and the system comprised: 232bar female DIN, filter tower and filter element, hose, one way valve, purge and 232bar DIN male (all components downstream of the one way valve are O2 cleaned and 'compatable'). NOTE. The idea of using this to brew nitrox using an unknown oil lubed compressor is a bit dodgy - the compressor should use synthetic, not mineral, oil and, of course, its primary filter should be in good order. It certainly won't do any harm to straight air though.<<<<<<<<<< <<<<<< fax - 0116 251 2227 They do Cylinder valves, Hoses, Filter Towers etc - all are made in store and is of Excellent Quality they have been involved in diving for years and apart from the std bits they do they will do custom anythings ie gas switch blocks, Decanting Hoses etc. I called them just before I went to Scapa earlier this years re a portable filter tower, they do them as std parts, in both DIN and A clamp. We didn't get one in the end as I called the skipper and his compressor is triple filtered. Call them and talk thru your requirement - they are divers and are technical too so will understand what you need>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> So, to summarise, yes they do exist and are not that expensive. They will improve the air quality coming from the compressors but you will still need to check on the compressor to find out if it is incompatible with filing cylinders that have high ppO2 in them already or in the futur.
