Lippman's book, "Deeper into Diving," Best Publishing (I think), has a pretty good discussion of multilevel dive planning using tables. One thing to keep in mind is that the US Navy tables aren't so good for multilevel dives. This is because the repetitive groups are based solely on the 120 minute tissue loading, which may not be the controlling tissue for short deep segments of a dive. Your best bet for multilevel planning is to get a computer implementation of a decompression model such as are found in dive planning programs now commercially available.
