I too have considered that arrangement. I gave up on the idea because of the problems in handling a rig and the danger if they should fall. THe tanks are much muore likely to survive the impact than the valves or a valve guard. There is also the problem of the extra line traps and a mounting point for your light. (I know ... George prefers a waist mount ... But I don't) As to the advantages .. Ease of reaching valves is a definite plus.
