hey all you techdiver nuts i'm new to this listing and listings in general. i've been diving for a few years, with a couple of hundred dives under the belt and have considered getting into the tech end of things. last summer i took a deep class, which is a pre-requiste for the instructors wreck class. this is an independent guy who i trust. his class was 4 deep dives and over 12 hours in the class room, and a manual he wrote of more than 200 pages. i'm not trying to sell his course ... i'm tell you that i'm serious about this decision. well he suggested my next purchase a dry-suit (here in new england the water is cold and dark at 100+ feet) ... so off i went and bought a used avon from a friend this summer i'll just dive the suit and maybe next summer take his wreck diving class ... i'm in school @ umass-boston as a full-time cs student i saw a reference to the techdiver list in aquaCorps and signed up this week is spring break, so i have time to read some mail and respond. i felt i should introduce myself before i sent the next piece of mail. i enjoy in diving and promote any diving activities i trust and believe in. peace howie deadhead@cs*.um*.ed*
