There is no doubt in my mind that there are more dives done in Flordia on any given day than the number of dives done up north in a week. It might be true that there are more dives done in one month in Flordia than all year up north. And don't think about comparing the OPEN WATER dives you wreck k divers do compared to cave dives where you have an overhead the whole time your diving. That's not to say that wreck diving is not dangerous, but to compare fatalities between open water wreck diving and cave diving is nuts and may put wreck divers on the losing end. Also, there are a lot of north wreck divers that come to Flordia to die in our caves. Whos body count would that go to. I think Frank said it best when he said the deaths we do have are too many.
